Slow week
So things are getting worked out. Apparently, my stuff is submitted finally. Cecil's is being worked on. But at least we have some confidence that it will get done. Mostly we've been concerned, that we are going to lose Hulu and Netflix. Is that sad? I'm not sure. Apparently we can get a VPN and access it through that … more research is needed. I also went all crazy organized and got rid of every DVD case we owned. It took six bags of trash to get that done. But I took all of our DVDs and organize them into CD binders and numbered them and labeled them. I also have procured the items to pack some nonessential items and am slowly starting. No rush yet as most things we still need and there is like 50 days until the plane. However, a slow but semi productive week.

What to expect......
Let me begin this post with a note of what to expect from my blog. :-)
What to expect:
1. At least one update a week. I plan on posting pictures and details of notable things so I will at least update weekly but not daily.
2. Pictures and tales sprinkled with travel advice- so be jealous. This target audience is mostly our friends and anyone interested in our chronicle of the trip to the NZ (New Zealand and I will use that abbreviation frequently). A lot of this will have my own opinion struck in so be ready!
3. Not-a-novel posts: The blog will have posts but I'm not going to make something long just to do so. I'll write what I'm thinking or experienced and that's is, no more no less :-)
4. Typos- Seriously, English was not my best subject and I doubt that has changed since school. Don't get me wrong I'm literate but there will be typos/misspellings..... sorry in advance this is a low-budget production.
Anyway, without further ado:
The frustration begins
So today is the second day after I have quit my job. Cecil and I are planning on leaving for New Zealand (NZ) in mid-to-late November and things are starting to fall into place. We've started to go through clothes and donate/throw/weed, go through closets and organize, plan trip and do those kinds of things. What is KILLING me is that our visa stuff isn't going through. The family practice place is saying their computer systems are down and they can't do anything until next week because they're office manager is out. Which seriously, is on my list of worst customer service experiences ever. Just messages taken with phone numbers, and no calls back. We paid a lot of money for this to happen and they just aren't doing what we paid them. I'm holding off on writing my scathing google review until they do it. It sucks because there ant many places that are qualified to submit the medical paperwork so we are basically at their mercy or i would TOTALLY go to another place. Anyway, its stressing me out and giving me cold sores. I don't know if anyone else gets those, but I do. I know that this in all probablility will get worked out but I HATE that people can't just do thier jobs.
OK, OK lets move on as talking about the above almost makes me break out in a sweat I get so angry. In good news, we are planning a party probably the weekend of Halloween (TBD) and a huge trip to try to see as many people as we can. I'll probably have to drive up to Erie separately though :-/. Seriously we will be in 5 states over 6 days it will be a lot of driving. Pre-travel will commense shortly. Until then its just normal house stuff. Off to mow the grass ya'll.
NZ or BUST!
